Liaison Interpreting

Liaison interpreting involves providing verbal translation for a meeting or interview in a small group setting. My role as an English-French interpreter is to ensure that everyone understands the content of the exchanges through brief oral translations.

Consecutive Interpreting

Consecutive interpreting is quite different from liaison interpreting. It involves a complete translation of the conversation into French or English: more precise, complex, and comprehensive.

Whispered Interpreting

Whispered interpreting is mainly used for instant translation directly to the client’s ear during an official visit or negotiation. It allows both parties to understand each other well without interrupting the flow of conversation.

Simultaneous Interpreting

Simultaneous interpreting is the most suitable solution for meetings and conferences. The communication is more fluid since the speaker does not have to pause his speech. I translate directly what he says and convey it to the audience. The participants wear headsets, and I relay the speaker’s words in the target language as quickly as possible while he speaks.
